Donna Yother, President

  I have been involved in the insurance business since 1984. I purchased the agency along with my business partner Michelle Jacobik in 1998. Currently,  I hold a license in Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance in Connecticut as well as Property & Casualty in Rhode Island. I am very fortunate that I chose a career that I still love and enjoy. The best part of my job is assisting my clients with important life decisions how to protect whats important to them; their family and assets. I was born and raised in Meriden CT and currently reside in Niantic with my husband Dave. I have three children: Diana, Debbie and David Jr. and seven grandchildren: Jordan, Zachary, Billy, Ashley, Will, David and Caitlin.  I enjoy being involved in the community by volunteering for several organizations.  I recently completed the Terri Brodeur Cancer Foundation 26.2 mile marathon walk raising over $1,000 for breast cancer research.  

I have been in the insurance industry since 1989 and purchased SAVA Insurance in 1998. I hold Property and Casualty, Life/Health, and a Series 6 Securities license. I am a Certified Construction Risk Insurance Specialist and am currently working towards the AAI designation. My goal is to develop long relationships with my clients and to become one of their "Trusted Advisers." I currently reside in Lisbon with my husband Keith, two children Amanda and Alex. I attended NFA and graduated from Three Rivers College and serve on the Board of Directors for the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut. I am looking forward to serving as their Chair of the Board in 2008.

Diana Buscetto, Commercial Account Manager

I am licensed in Property and Casualty and am currently working towards my AAI designation & Construction Specialist Certification. I assist our Business Insurance clients and help them protect one of their most precious investments. I live in Stonington with my husband Bill and my two children Jordan and Billy along with our dog Mickey. I try to play tennis and golf when I am not at my children's sporting events. I volunteer for the American Cancer Society and this year I walked 26.2 miles with my sister and mother to support the Terri Brodeur Foundation for Breast Cancer.

Christine Spivey, Personal Account Manager

I have been in the insurance industry for over 23 years handling all aspects of Personal Lines insurance and currently working towards my AAI designation. I live in Ledyard with my husband Joe and two daughters Amber and Ashley along with my four cats. I enjoy spending time with my family and attending high school sporting events. I am an avid movie and concert goer with my family. I volunteer with the American Cancer Society "Relay for Life," Terri Brodeur Cancer Foundation and the Ledyard Girls Softball League. In 2005 I was the president of New London County Association of Insurance Women.

Debra Kane, Personal Account Manager

I am a licensed Property and Casualty agent and have been with Sava for ten years. Currently my role in the agency is in the Personal Lines Department. I enjoy spending time with my family and supporting multiple charitable causes.  I have been involved with the American Cancer Society and will be involved with the Avon 39 mile breast cancer walk in May and the Terri Brodeur 26.2 mile walk in October.

Johanna Dwire, Personal Account Manager

I am a licensed Property & Casualty agent. I can assist you with policy questions, packaging your policies and new business quotes. I reside in Niantic with my husband and daughter. I was born and raised in Southern Vermont and moved to Connecticut in 1999. I enjoy outdoor sports including four-wheeling, snowmobiling and I am a avid Nascar fan. I volunteer for the Jimmy Fund and am a member of the Parent Committee for Fairview Child Development Center. I am also a Board Member of my Condo Association.

Debbie Mullin, Personal Lines Processor

I am a graduate of Three Rivers Community Technical College and hold a Property and Casualty license. I also completed the AAI 81 course. I grew up in Niantic and now live in Salem with my husband Chris and daughter Allyssa along with our cat Jeanie. I like to watch my daughter cheerleading & playing basketball. I enjoy spending time with my family and like to watch auto racing. This year I volunteered for the Terri Brodeur Cancer Foundation for Breast Cancer.

Stephanie Conlin, Marketing Coordinator

I graduated from Roger Williams University with a degree in Marketing. I moved 3 years ago from Danbury CT to Stonington with my husband and two children Bronson and Morgan along with our dog Franky. My responsibilities in the agency are marketing for Sava Insurance Group and assist in the Commercial Department.  I enjoy watching my children play baseball, softball, basketball and sailing.

Afton Bernhardt, Administrative

I graduated from North Haven Academy Paul Mitchell Partner School with a license in aesthetics and makeup design.  I have been actively involved in the field for two years but am trying to expand my skill levels in other working environments.  I was born and raised in southern Mississippi and have been in the tri-state area for a little over two years.  I cherish spending time with my two and three year old sisters.  I enjoy being in the sun and outdoor activities.  I have taken up snowboarding and enjoy trying to carve down the mountains.
